Location: Pittsburgh, PA (119 Gamma, Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15238)
 

SUMMARY OF JOB:  Under supervision of the Controller, the Accountant performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the accounting department. We are offering a competitive base salary, benefit package and growth opportunities. Working schedule of 4 days in office and an option for 1 day remote after a satisfied training period. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provides customer service and support for the office administrative staff regarding branch accounting questions.
• Process commissino and escrow deposits including balancing reports
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents
• Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
• Participate in project planning for the department
• Address customer inquires via phone and email
• Follow procedures, guidelines and policies

• Four year degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to accurately enter data into system
• Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, agents and vendors
